Autoimmune Health: The Yoga and Neuro-Somatic Psychotherapeutic Approach

Workshop with Rebecca Bieraugel

In nature at Clinton Baker Pinetum

Explore the powerful connection between mind, body, and nervous system in these transformative workshops designed for those living with autoimmune conditions.

Combining therapeutic yoga practices with neuro-somatic psychotherapy techniques, these workshops provide a compassionate and supportive space to explore the profound interplay between stress, emotions, and physical health.

For this workshop we’ve been given special access to one of Hertford’s hidden gems—the truly magical Clinton Baker Pinetum.

We’ll spend our time connecting with the natural world and deepening our sense of presence through grounding practices like forest bathing, silent walking meditation, and gentle somatic movement. These practices are designed to help you tune into your body and reconnect with your true nature.

You can expect a gentle blend of playfulness and quiet reflection, all within the serene beauty of the Pinetum.

Becky will bring along some soothing herbal tea, and you’re warmly invited to bring a packed lunch or snack to enjoy as part of a relaxed picnic together.

Location:

We'll begin our journey at The Hornsmill Community Centre, where there’s plenty of parking available. From there, it’s just a short and lovely 10-minute walk to the Pinetum.

Address: The Hornsmill Community Centre, 115e Cecil Road , Hertford, SG13 8HS

What to bring:

  • Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes, and bring a waterproof layer—just in case. (Becky has put in a request for good weather, but a bit of rain won’t dampen our spirits!)

  • A packed lunch or snack

Who can attend?

No prior yoga experience is needed—just bring an open heart and a willingness to explore. If you have any questions or curiosities, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Whether you’re seeking relief, deeper understanding, or connection with a supportive community, these workshops invite you to embark on a journey of self-care and renewal. They continue to evolve and grow through the energy, participation, and feedback of those who attend. Each one offers a fresh theme or approach to self-discovery, all woven together by a common thread: making space, finding balance, and gently finding our way back to ourselves
